Verner Stor Wilson III, April 24, 1986 - March 23, 2023
Verner was a kind and compassionate soul, always willing to lend a helping hand to those in need. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, colleagues, and all those whose lives he touched. His legacy will live on through the impact he made in the world, and the inspiration he provided to others to continue the work he so passionately pursued.

Bristol Bay Fisheries Report: July 3, 2022
Following huge days for fishing, harvest numbers dropped slightly Saturday but were still strong. Total harvest is now just over 20 million. That’s almost double the harvest totals from this time last year. Escapement swelled bay-wide Saturday with now 6.5 million salmon returned.

Bristol Bay Fisheries Report: July 4, 2022
The Nushagak fleet had another million-day catch on Sunday, but Egegik wasn’t far behind. Ugashik fisherfolk continue to bring in the biggest loads as the bay-wide run edges near 30 million fish.

Bristol Bay Fisheries Report: July 5, 2022
The Nushagak District had its third-largest single day harvest with about 1.78 million salmon caught and Egegik fishers saw another 1.2 million in their nets as well. The bay-wide run is now 34.4 million fish.

Bristol Bay Fisheries Report: July 6, 2022
Another day, another million-fish catch in the Nushagak. Harvest in that district is already the fourth-largest on record. After a lull, escapement up rivers on the West Side jumped on Tuesday. Egegik fleets brought in almost a million fish as well.

Bristol Bay Fisheries Report: June 26, 2022
Egegik fishermen hauled in the bay's biggest harvest on Saturday. Ugashik fishermen hauled in the smallest, but their drift deliveries were huge. Sockeye runs to Nushagak and Wood rivers were over 200,000. We also have revised numbers for the Nushagak's king escapement.

Bristol Bay Fisheries Report: July 1, 2022
The Nushagak District broke the record for single day harvest: The fleet caught 2.46 million salmon on Thursday. Average drift deliveries there had more than 2,000 sockeye. Ugashik fishers are still bringing in the heaviest loads.
