Dillingham Man Charged with Assaulting Police Officers

A man from Dillingham was arrested Saturday night after he allegedly assaulted police officers. The Dillingham Police Department responded to an intoxicated man on the bike path along the Aleknagik Lake Road. The investigation resulted in the arrest of 23-year old Joshua Wahl. The Dillingham Police Department confirms that after he was taken to the Dillingham Jail, Wahl tore a panel off the holding cell. Wahl was charged with 4th Degree Assault on a Police Officer, Disorderly Conduct and Criminal Mischief.
