Long Time UAF Professor with Ties to the Fishing Industry Retires

A well-known researcher with the University of Alaska Fairbanks has retired after 30-year. Chuck Crapo came to the University in 1983 after working in the seafood processing industry. For most of his career with the University, Crapo worked both for the UAF Alaska Sea Grant Marine Advisory Program and the UAF Fishery Industrial Technology Center. That Center was recently been renamed the Kodiak Seafood and Marine Science Center. Crapo has authored over 40 peer-reviewed publications and he's worked on over 150 different projects. Crapo plans to split his time between Kodiak and Southeast Asia.
