The Candidate Filling Period Deadline in Dillingham is Tuesday

Tuesday is the deadline for candidates to file for the upcoming election in Dillingham. There are 2 seats up for election on the Dillingham City Council. Both come with a 3-year term. Seat A is currently held by Brenda Akelkok and Seat B is held by Chris Maines. The October 1st election in Dillingham will also feature a couple of seats on the Dillingham School Board. Seat A comes with a 3-year term and Seat C is a one year term that expires in October of 2014. If you miss Tuesday's candidate filing deadline can still file to run as a write in candidate. The filing period begins on Wednesday and runs through September 30th. In order to file as a write in candidate you must file a letter of intent.
