Glenn Haight Named Executive Director of the Alaska Board of Fisheries

The Alaska Board of Fisheries has a new executive director. Glenn Haight will take over for Monica Wellard. Haight has a bachelor’s degree in administration from the University of New Mexico and a master’s degree in international management from the American Graduate School of International Management in Glendale, Arizona. He comes to the new job after serving as a development manager for the Alaska Division of Economic Development within the Alaska Department of Commerce, Community, and Economic Development. Haight also served as a Fisheries Business Specialist with the Marine Advisory Program and as the Community Development Quota Program Manager with the Alaska Division of Community and Regional Affairs. Haight’s first day on the job will be Monday.
