Freelance photographer Carl Johnson hopes to raise $20,000 through the crowdfunding site to help tell the story of Bristol Bay through photos.
By late next year, freelance photographer Carl Johnson intends to publish a photo essay book depicting the beauty, resources, and way of life in Bristol Bay, Alaska, and he’s hoping others will help him accomplish that task. KDLG’s Dave Bendinger reports on Johnson’s use of the crowdfunding website Kickstarter.com to fund his telling of this region’s story.
