Alaskans can now file for their 2014 Permanent Fund Dividend. The application period opened on January 2, and runs through March 31.
The 2013 PFD check was $900, up from $878 the year before. The 2014 PFD amount will be announced in mid-September, and paid to eligible Alaskans on October 2.

Some “myAlaska” users may need to revalidate their account this year, according to the state, because the Dept. of Administration recently upgraded their software.
