Veterans honored in Bristol Bay communities

A program featuring music, poetry and words of thanks was given for 30 veterans and hundreds of community members at Dillingham High School.

A Veterans Day program drew about 30 veterans and several hundred students and community members to the Dillingham High School gym on Wednesday.

Events in remembrance of veterans' service were also held at the Aleknagik School, Bristol Bay Borough School, Meshik School in Port Heiden, Twin Hills Community Center, and elsewhere around the region.
