Prosecutor dismisses Angasan drug dealing case

KDLG: A drug dealing charge against 27-year-old Alexandra Angasan has been dismissed by the state’s prosecutor.

Dillingham Police say they built a solid case based on Angasan allegedly selling a dose of heroin to a police confidential informant back in January. Angasan now lives in Wasilla, and Dillingham Police believe she has trafficked narcotics back into the region on more than one occasion.

Assistant district attorney Pamela Dale dismissed the charge, saying she did not think the state had sufficient evidence to proceed.

Dillingham Police Chief Dan Pasquariello said he was disappointed to learn the case was dropped.
