Douglas Kossler Appointed to the Alaska Court of Appeals

Alaska Governor Sean Parnell has filled a vacancy on the Alaska Court of Appeals. Douglas Kossler will fill the seat that was held by Judge Joel Bolger. Bolger was appointed to the Alaska Supreme Court. Kossler is from Anchorage and works for the Office of Special Prosecutions and Appeals. Kossler has been a public defender and has taught a criminal law class for the Anchorage Youth Court for 10-years. Kossler has a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the College of William and Mary. His law degree is from Temple University.
