House passes bill to make daylight saving time permanent. Will it survive in the Senate?

This week, the House overwhelmingly passed the Sunshine Protection Act, a bill that would make daylight saving time permanent year-round. But it may not make it much further, as regional politics could challenge the bill’s fate in the Senate.
