Representative's Edgmon and Herron Say Expanding Medicare is Right for Alaska

Earlier this month Alaska Governor Sean Parnell decided against allowing a federally funded expansion of Medicaid in Alaska. Such an expansion could have allowed thousands of residents to participate in the program. As KDLG’s Mike Mason reports, the Governor’s decision is disappointing to the State Representative that represents much of the Bristol Bay region.
