Cars line up in front of new Dillingham coffee shop for its soft opening.
Today is the soft opening for Tide Table Coffee, Dillingham’s only standalone coffee establishment. The walk-up and drive-through coffee hut on Harbor Road has had a steady stream of customers since it opened at 6:30 this morning. The owner Shanelle Fo, said that she opened the shop to fill a need she saw.
“I’ve been working on this coffee shop probably for about a year. I just saw that there was a need for coffee and made it happen,” says Fo. “The soft opening’s going well. It’s been really busy. The spread of word of mouth has been going really well.
Tide Table Coffee’s grand opening will be tomorrow from 7 a.m. – 2 p.m.
