DILLINGHAM: Alaska wildlife troopers in King Salmon report progress investigating an unlawfully harvested pregnant cow moose near Lake Iliamna.
Troopers first spotted the kill site on a routine helicopter patrol on January 16, and evidence led towards the village of Igiugig. On Wednesday, troopers cited Robert Hester, 25, with the unlawful take of a cow moose and hunting without a current license.
Hester’s arraignment is scheduled for the end of February.
