Young Scientists Explore Salmon and Alternative Energy

Young scientists spent part of their summer vacation in one of the world’s most beautiful laboratories: Camp Polaris on Lake Aleknagik.  BBEDC’s Salmon Camp brought in local students and those from around the state to learn about the lifecycle of salmon, the scientific method, and alternative energy. The final group even earned college credit through the Bristol Bay campus.  KDLG’s Ben Matheson visited the camp and filed this report.
