Brown bears, salmon, Katmai rangers and camera-wielding tourists -- Coming soon, probably, to a LEGO box set near you.
Gavin Gardner "bleeds green and gray" -- that is, he loves the National Park Service. He's also a fan of building LEGO sets with his two kids. So for this year's centennial of the NPS, he started scouring the world of tiny plastic bricks to find pieces to re-create classic National Park scenes. He set his creative sights first on Alaska, and created a mini LEGO prototype of Katmai National Park's Brooks Camp, complete with brown bear, salmon jumping the falls, and tourists agape.
