Coast Guard Rescues Ailing Fishermen

The U.S. Coast Guard medevaced a fishermen from the 210-foot fishing vessel Alaska Juris near Cold Bay on Sunday. A Jayhawk helicopter crew forward deployed in Cold Bay met the Alaska Juris about 110 miles north of Cold Bay and hoisted the fishermen aboard. The unnamed man was apparently suffering from a hernia and was taken to Cold Bay for medical care.
