Photographer Launches Final Push for Bristol Bay Book

Earlier this summer, we reported on Carl Johnson, an Anchorage based photographer working on a book called “Where Water is Gold.” The book contains photographs and essays from Bristol Bay documenting the intertwined lifestyles and natural resources of the region.  After 2 unsuccessful campaigns on Kickstarter, Johnson is leading one final push to gather support for the final stages of the project.  KDLG’s Ben Matheson has the story:
