KDLG: A 51-year-old woman was charged with possession of heroin after a traffic stop Tuesday in Dillingham.
Police say they stopped the vehicle because an officer recognized Annie Sergie in the passenger seat, and that there was bench warrant for her in a case on trial this week. When Sergie was searched prior to arrest, a medicine bottle was found on her person that contained a small amount of what police say she admitted was black tar heroin.
She also had close to $600 cash.
Sergie was charged with fourth degree misconduct involving a controlled substance.
