KDLG held a live call-in forum for the five gubernatorial candidates August 13 - 17.

KDLG was joined by Republican candidate Mike Dunleavy on Monday, Libertarian candidate Billy Toien on Wednesday, and Republican candidate Mead Treadwell on Friday. All five candidates agreed to take part in the forum in advance, but due to scheduling conflicts Democratic candidate Mark Begich and incumbant Gov. Bill Walker were unable to participate. Each candidate was given 35 minutes to answer questions from callers and community volunteers on their policy positions and qualifications.

The views expressed by callers, guests, and community volunteers reflect only the views of the callers, guests and volunteers. They do not represent the views of KDLG's advisory board or board of directors, KDLG staff or affiliated organizations.
