Alaska ICE Girls Basketball Team Reaches AAU National Title Game

A rural Alaska AAU girls basketball team went all the way to national title game this month in Orlando.  The team includes three soon-to-be senior girls from Dillingham.

The girls are selected throughout the high school season for the state’s only true AAU team. Alaska ICE is made of girls from Barrow, Kotzebue, Bethel, Newhalen and Glenallen. The 3 from Dillingham are  Bryn Tennyson, Tiera Schroeder, and Drew Carlos. KDLG’s Ben Matheson has the story:
