Across the state, more than 1000 cases of influenza have been confirmed in February. Dr. Catherine Hyndman from the Bristol Bay Area Health Corporation shares regional information and advice on staying healthy.

The number of influenza cases in Bristol Bay continues to rise. Across the state, tests have confirmed more than three times the usual number for this time of year. Several people in the Bristol Bay have had cases severe enough to require transportation to Anchorage for treatment. Dr. Catherine Hyndman from the Bristol Bay Area Health Corporation sat down with KDLG’s Avery Lill on Friday to talk more about the flu and what you can do to stay healthy this season.
