The annual Blessing of the Fleet in the Dillingham boat harbor  was held Sunday.

A group of about 100 people gathered in the high wind at the boat harbor for the annual Blessing of the Fleet. Pete Andrew read off 71 names of those who've been lost in the fishery.

The bell rang out for every name of a fallen fisherman that was read aloud during the Blessing of the Fleet

Leaders from 5 area churches gave prayers on behalf of thousands who will be fishing the waters of Bristol Bay in the coming weeks.

This was the 28th annual Blessing of the Fleet and Memorial for those who have lost their lives at sea or in fishing related accidents.
