From on board the '48 foot Diana to the 225' foot floating processor Ocean Fresh, a look at the sockeye fishery in the Chigniks, already well underway.

As Bristol Bay’s season is just getting underway, nearby another sockeye season has been going strong for a couple of weeks. In the Chigniks, 70+ permit holders, fishing up to 58' purse seine vessels, are busy hauling in 10-15,000 lbs of sockeye a day. For the Bristol Bay Fisheries Report, KDLG's Dave Bendinger has more:
