State Unveils New Accountability System to Replace NCLB's AYP

Dillingham students returning to the classroom August 26th will attend three star schools, according to a new ranking system from the state. The new Alaska School Performance Index replaces No Child Left Behind’s adequate yearly progress benchmarks.  KDLG’s Ben Matheson explains the new accountability system.
