That’s still well short of the available quota of 27.8-thousand tons. The purse seine fleet hauled in 1.7-thousand tons of herring Wednesday to push their total harvest to just over 14-thousand tons. That’s over 5-thousand tons short of their quota of 19.5-thousand tons. The gillnet fleet hauled in 384-tons of herring Wednesday to push the season total to just under 5-thousand tons. That’s still short of the gillnet quota of 8.3-thousand tons. The average roe percentage of Wednesday’s gillnet harvest was 11.9-percent.
