A Newhalen man was arrested last week after allegedly biting his child. Troopers responded Thursday to a call from the child’s mother saying that the child was hurt while under care of 44 year old Ronald Wassillie.
Trooper investigation found that Wassillie bit the child once on the lower face, and once on the back, both times causing visible injury. Troopers arrested Wassillie and transported him to King Salmon. They believe alcohol was involved.
