Levelock Man Arrested for DUI After Collision

DILLINGHAM: At a little past midnight on Tuesday morning, the state troopers took a report of a DUI and hit-and-run in the village of Levelock.

Ryan Andrew, 22, is alleged to have driven a 4-wheeler around the village while he was under the influence of alcohol, and according to the troopers Andrew collided into a children’s snow machine with a nine and a six year old on board.   

Those youngsters were thrown from their machine and were injured. Andrew allegedly drove away from the scene.

Andrew was arrested for DUI, reckless driving, and leaving the scene of an accident, and was taken to the jail in King Salmon.
