Dillingham Police Department

According to Dillingham Police, Ivan Gust, 29, was texting and calling a victim in a 2016 stalking case, which violated the terms of his probation. Police say he later confessed to sexual assault of a minor.

Dillingham police arrested New Stuyahok resident Ivan Gust last week for alleged stalking and unlawful contact.

The 29-year-old spent time in jail in 2016 on a stalking conviction.

Recent police investigation found Gust has been violating the terms of his probation by allegedly texting and calling one of the stalking victims.

After his arrest last week, Gust requested to speak to police officers. He confessed to sexual abuse of one of the victims in the 2016 case, who is a minor.

Gust faces charges of sexual abuse of a minor under the age of 13 and stalking, which are felonies, and a misdemeanor charge of unlawful contact.

Bail was set at $25,000, and he was transported to the Anchorage Jail.
