The "Flamin' Krackens" were this year's "Most Improved Team", placing 3rd in the Research Project and 8th in the Quiz Bowl.Eighteen high school teams met earlier this month in Seward for the annual Tsunami Bowl competition. In their fourth year competing, Dillingham's Flamin' Krackens improved to 6th place overall. That earned the team "Most Improved" honors at the highly competitive academic event, which is also a lot of fun. KDLG's Dave Bendinger has more:
