Dillingham Police Search for Weapons Taken from a Local Home

The Dillingham Police Department is asking for the public’s help in finding several weapons that were apparently stolen earlier this year. On Monday the Police were notified of a burglary on D Street in Dillingham. The owner of the house, Diana Nelson, had been gone since December. When she returned she found that the home had been broken into. 6 guns were among the items apparently stolen. They include a Remington .30-06 Gamemaster rifle, a .22 caliber Remington Fieldmaster rifle, and a Browning semi-automatic 12-guage shotgun. Anyone with information about the burglary or the whereabouts of the guns is asked to call the Dillingham Police Department at 842-5354.
