Hannah Colton/KDLG News

Tuesday was another 2 million fish day, lots of fishing opportunity through Bristol Bay, and even more sunshine – but where are those Kvichak fish? All that and more on tonight's fish report.

Our 2016 membership drive is underway! KDLG needs your financial pledge to keep the BBFR and the rest of our programming on the air. We're proud of the work we do as the only news team in Bristol Bay, and this week is your chance to show your support. Click the "Donate" tab, or call us at 907-842-5281.

The total Bristol Bay run through Tuesday, 30 million fish. Tuesday’s harvest was 1.9 million, bringing the season total to 21 million. Tuesday’s escapement 1 million for the rivers counting, season total 7.6.

Tonight, researcher Curry Cunningham gives some perspective on what’s to come, Area Management Biologist Tim Sands talks about plans for the Nushagak and Togiak districts, and KDLG's Dave Bendinger takes us to see the work done at Icicle’s Wood River plant.

Reach out to us with feedback, ideas, letters from home to your friends and family in the Bay!
