An earthquake with a magnitude of 7.0 was recorded Sunday night off the coast of Northern California. The earthquake did NOT create a destructive tsunami. The National Tsunami Warning Center in Palmer confirms the quake was recorded at 9:18 Sunday night and was located about 40-miles west of Eureka, California.
