The Commissioner of the Alaska Department of Natural Resources is resigning his post effective September 24th. Dan Sullivan was appointed Commissioner in December of 2012 after serving as Alaska’s Attorney General for about a year and a half. Sullivan’s resignation was accepted by Alaska Governor Sean Parnell. In a written statement Parnell said Sullivan played a key role in getting big things done to strengthen Alaska’s economy and families.
