Commercial fishermen, processors, and the managers for the Alaska Department of Fish and Game are all preparing for the upcoming sockeye salmon fishery in Bristol Bay. In one of the 5 districts stakeholders are contemplating a scenario that puts a large number of fishermen into a relatively small river. KDLG’s Mike Mason has the story.
