NEA-Alaska Pushes for BSA Increase in New Education Task Force

The Alaska Legislature is still 6 months from convening in Juneau, but the politics of school funding are already heating up. The house in its final hours passed a resolution to create the Sustainable Education Task Force.   The group is charged with making recommendation about school funding and is now accepting application from members of the public. Those with eye on education funding have accused the group of screening members based on a questionnaire for prospective members.
