Napaskiak man picked up on rape charge

KDLG:  State troopers in Bethel say they found and arrested a dangerous man wanted on several charges, including attempted first degree sexual assault.

42-year-old Wilson Beaver of Napaskiak, a registered sex offender, allegedly broke into a home in the village and put a knife to a woman’s home in exchange for sex. Troopers say the woman was able to escape but was injured. This happened on August 15, and Beaver disappeared until Sunday, when he was arrested in Atmauluak without incident.

He was transported to Bethel for arrest and arraignment.
