The International Pacific Halibut Commission has filled out the membership of the new "Management Strategy Advisory Board". The 16-member Board includes both American's and Canadians.
John Woodruff with Icicle Seafood's will serve on the new Board along with Dan Hull who sits on the North Pacific Fishery Management Council. The Board will also include Jeff Kauffman with the Central Bering Sea Fishermen's Association and Shane Halverson with North Pacific Seafood's. The creation of the new "Management Strategy Advisory Board" is the result of a new management strategy evaluation program approved by the IPHC Commissioner's at their meeting earlier this year.
