EPA Mum On Timeframe for Final Watershed Assessment

The EPA said they're processing all of the new comments received over the spring and summer, and still intend another round of peer review.

At Tuesday's meeting with EPA Administrator Gina McCarthy in Dillingham, area residents and tribal leaders urged the agency to finish its Bristol Bay Watershed Assessment. A final version was initially expected by the end of 2012. The agency says it's processing new public comments, and awaiting another peer review of the document, and aren't committing to a timeframe for its release. KDLG's Dave Bendinger has more:
