Dillingham's Pearl Strub Chosen to Sit on the Alaska Workforce Investment Board

In recent day’s Alaska Governor Sean Parnell has made several appointments to boards and commissions. Among those appointed is Pearl Strub from Dillingham who was tapped to sit on the Alaska Workforce Investment Board. Strub is the Director of Education, Employment and Training for the Bristol Bay Economic Development Corporation. Another Alaskan chosen to serve on the Alaska Workforce Investment Board is Deantha Crockett from Anchorage. She’s the Executive Director of the Alaska Miners Association. The Alaska Workforce Investment Board is tasked with helping to develop programs that will provide Alaskans with the skills necessary to succeed in the workforce.
