Tanner Savo, 19, was arrested in Minnesota last week on three charges related to the sexual abuse of a minor.
Dillingham Police opened an investigation in June 2017 after abuse was reported to the Office of Children’s Services.
On July 5, 2018 a grand jury returned an indictment on three felony charge based on allegations that Tanner Fox Savo sexually abused a minor under the age of 13. A warrant was issued for his arrest.
Savo, a 19-year-old from Dillingham, was arrested in Rice County, Minnesota last week. He is being extradited to Alaska. Yesterday he was released from Rice County Jail into the custody of Alaska State Patrol.
