Dillingham's annual winter festival is in full swing, and the KDLG crew has been out recording (we mean, enjoying) the festivities.

We asked some listeners to share their stories of Beaver Round-Ups of years past.

KDLG's Hannah Colton produced these stories from the old days of Beaver Round-Up...

Richard and Della Clark took us back to the late '50s-early '60s with tales of the first Beaver Round-Up festivals: fur trappers, dog sled races tracked by plane, and talent shows in the old theater.

The festivities got underway Wednesday afternoon with the annual parade downtown.

The BBAHC outhouse rounded the bend to come in a close second.

The parade was followed by three races down Main Street:
