The Aleknagik city council certified its election results Wednesday night.
The Aleknagik City Council met Thursday night and certified its election results.
The council also elected Carolyn Smith to serve as its mayor, Jane Gottschalk was selected as vice mayor, and Tina Tinker is the secretary/treasurer.
Jane Gottschalk was elected with 13 votes, Jason Creasey Sr. was elected with 14 votes, Jasmine Kritz was elected with 21 votes and Pat Owens was elected with 25.
A total of 30 ballots were cast.
