Mongrel Mix is a heady mix of roots music from the United States and around the world.  Not everything I play is for everyone – take throat singing or Pygmy music, for two notorious examples – but I’m hoping that through regular listening someone might perk up at some unusual but compelling sound and begin to wonder.

Bay Whalin’ Hour showcases an eclectic mix of contemporary jazz and singer/songwriter music. Examples of artists featured are Tom Waits, The Subdudes, Micheal Franks, and The Duchs.
