Students cut and sewed brightly colored qaspeqs at Dillingham’s Beaver Round-Up community celebration late last month. Longtime educator Dora Andrew-Irkhe taught the class.
The basketball team won the Aleutian Chain Regional Championship in Naknek earlier this month, securing them a spot at the 1A State tournament. The State tournament is scheduled to start March 13.
