KDLG Calendar

S.I.S.T.R. is the acronym for Safety in Sobriety Through Recovery. This is a no-fee service for S.A.F.E. clients and women in the community. WE MEET EVERY THURSDAY FROM 5:00PM TO 7:00PM. We steam together, eat together, laugh, cry, and share with each other. Transportation and child care are provided if needed.

The SISTRS program provides the following services: alcohol/drug assessment and screening; interpersonal violence issues; aid to women who face treatment barriers due to childcare responsibilities; coordination on client alcohol/drug services with Jake's Place; weekly women's group for community residents; coordinate with domestic violence programs and services, and safety planning.

Dinner and a DVD for parents and guardians of teenagers. The program will be held at the Fireweed B&B in the Neqleq neighborhood. Please call Joan Junge, Advanced Nurse Practitioner, at 842-5775 for more information.
