The men and women who make their living in the Bristol Bay commercial fisheries are a major driving force in the local economy.  In an effort to spotlight those fisheries, KDLG will begin airing the Bristol Bay Fisheries Report this Friday at 2:06 p.m.  The program can also be heard Saturday and Sunday afternoons at 1:06 p.m.  This week we highlight the 3 h's of commercial fishing in Bristol Bay... Herring, Halibut, and Help Wanted.  Tune in for stories about the Togiak Herring Fishery, the Bristol Bay CDQ halibut fishery, and how to find a job in the Bay's commercial fisheries.  KDLG is excited to welcome Mike Mason as the host for the Bristol Bay Fisheries Report this season.  Please join us as Mike explore's the commercial fishing industry and life around the Bay.

If you missed a Bristol Bay Fisheries Report or would like to hear one again, you can download the audio from our Files & Download section.
